Whether you're out on the deck overlooking the pond, watching the wildlife from the dining room, playing in the spacious yards, exploring the trails behind the house or zipping into the town of Stowe for all of the amazing recreational, culinary and festive attractions, you'll be able to relax in nature.
Please note the Casita is a guest apartment attached to the house. Only one wall is shared in the mudroom. If you are looking at a photo of the whole house it's the section on the right with the door and three vertical windows.
If you're looking for a mountain escape for your family and friends, you'll have everything you need here. Fully stocked yet minimally furnished, this spacious house comes with all the comforts of home and hotel like amenities.
Imagine yourself enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee from our full coffee bar and sitting on the deck listening to the birds in the morning….or, after a day of Stowe town exploration and adventure, you and your group are ready to enjoy happy hour with a view of the pond from our deck, before cooking a memorable meal in our full, open & spacious kitchen. Once you're ready to rest your heads, you'll be comfortable and fast asleep to the sounds of nature in one of our 5 bedrooms!
This summer we will be traveling around, but when we're in town we'll be staying in our new airstream on the property and will be available to chat if you're curious about the property, area, or have any questions. At the same time, we respect your privacy & space and want you to liberally enjoy your stay!
THE SPACE
The home is a casual, rustic, friendly space with an inviting open-plan living room, kitchen, and dining area - the heart of the home where your friends and family can gather around by the fire to catch up, play games or enjoy your favorite movie. It is built for recreation and sharing good times together with family and friends - both inside and out.
LIVING AREA
The living room/Great room is your ideal family gathering space, with pitched ceilings, loads of natural light, convenient built-ins and the just the right amount of furnishings to make you comfortable, but not crowded.
KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchen’s open floor plan is spacious and perfectly equipped to cook to your heart’s content. With its fully stocked inventory of dishes, pots, pans and utensils, you will be sure to have everything you need, and feel right at home. The large center island and comfortable stools make this popular gathering space perfect for enjoying conversations, swapping recipes or grazing on appetizers and a nice glass of local wine.
The dining room comfortably seats 8 people...and overlooks the pond. Watch for beavers, herons, ducks, and other surprises…we've even seen a bald eagle!
BED & BATH
This large home comes with 5 bedrooms (2 with king-sized beds, 2 with queen-sized beds and one with a double-sized bed….something for everyone!).
Upstairs, you will find 2 bedrooms and a separate bathroom, with a full shower/bathtub and double sinks.
The master bedroom features views of the trees through the sliding door out onto deck, while the master bathroom features a steam shower (personal sized), along with a jacuzzi tub which looks out at the deck and over the pond nestled within the impressive pine trees - heaven on earth at sunrise!
There is an additional 1/2 bath off of the mudroom/kitchen area, downstairs.
OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES
Large, park-like front & back yards with unobstructed views of the stunning surrounding nature. Numerous play areas and even a soccer field and are just a few highlights that will keep you, your family, children and pets entertained…and, get ready for long, relaxed evenings while enjoying the superb sunsets on our expansive scenic deck, leisurely enjoying lunches under the awning shade, or waking up and stepping out into the morning filtered light with your freshly brewed coffee.
Our home is pet friendly, so even your dogs & cats will appreciate and spend hours on this brand new incredible deck ;-)
MOUNTAIN BIKING: There is a trail to the left of the large barn that you can follow to connect to Strawberry Fields where you can enter the Cady Hill Trail System without riding on the road.
Note: The fireplace is not functional as of the moment.

Big bonus! This home includes a basement game room & play area perfect for the kids (also has a queen bed), with a 2-person sauna….and a teepee! Who’s in for a round of Foosball?
Our keyless entry makes guest access extra easy.
We LOVE hosting guests with pets - we do ask for a $75 pet fee and no paws on the furniture. No shoes allowed past the mudroom. There is another family living on property.... NO PARTIES/EVENTS/DISTURBANCES for others.
Also important - there is an apartment attached to the home that is also rented on Airbnb. Only the mudroom wall is shared with that apt space. There may be interaction in the driveway/yards, if any, otherwise each space is completely private and separate.
Please be mindful that there are other people and pets on the property.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
